How long do you have to play mass effect two before you get to the sex scene or a sexual part?

my cousin rented the game and plans on playing it, and his parents are skeptical on letting him play it.

To answer your question, the sexual parts are ENTIRELY optional, and require a long courtship process in the beginning of the game to even get to it, and (if he does pursue this) will happen before the final mission and assault on *SPOILERS* collector's base. In short, It is completely optional, so no worries. I have played the game myself, and know how to get to the sexual parts. Read more on the source to understand exactly how this works. Warning: This website has spoilers on the story, but tells you how the Romance part works and how to get to it. The game is a bit on the bloody side, occasionally uses semi-strong language. (Be forewarned and tell his parents: Omega [A beginning part of the game and more relevant later on], Shepard and Friends must go into a club called Afterlife and has pole dances, and you can watch a pretty seductive dance on the bottom floor.) I do hope your friend can enjoy one of the most spellbinding RPG's in recent history, with an awesome story, great action, and well-thought out ending and details that seem insignificant at first, but turn out to be some of the toughest decisions to make.
